Cynthia Lemen—Owner

Cynthia and her husband Val opened the doors of Divine Beauty Studio in January 2013. Cynthia is a licensed aesthetician with an emphasis on lash enhancements (extensions and lifts) brow shaping, and permanent makeup.  In 2006 she became the first NovaLash Eyelash Extension artist in Michigan when she trained with their lead research scientist Chicago, and received advanced certification in New York in 2009. After passing a rigorous 12 month course with Brow Design International of New York, Cynthia became one of their Elite Certified Microblade Artists in 2018. In January 2019 she was personally mentored by international permanent makeup artist Kristina Melnicenco in micropigmentation and has added ombre/powder brows, eyeliner, and lip blush to her skills.  Cynthia has privately studied master level permanent makeup techniques with international award winning Russian artist Elena Blinova, and also has certification in the Li-Ft all-natural method of saline tattoo lightening (fades the color of existing tattoos). With the growing popularity of brow lamination, Cynthia has developed her own method and is now offering “Sculpted Brows”.

Kris Teer—Master Stylist

Kris is a Master Stylist and our lead Organic Colorist. She has years of advanced training in precision cutting and is skilled at the current color trends like balayage “hair painting” and accenting with fun vibrant colors like blue and purple. Kris is a well rounded stylist who enjoys caring for the whole family from grandma's roller set and perm to baby's first hair cut. She is experienced in the services of gentlemen’s “color blending” to gently wash away gray, giving hair sun-kissed highlights, creating dimension with multi tones of high and low, and giving bushy brows a clean arch. Her warm and caring personality is one of the very best traits about Kris!

Kim Binkley—Master Stylist

Master stylist Kim has over 12 years of experience. She is a color specialist and excels at precision hair cutting. She has attended many continuing education classes and is skilled at guiding clients in choosing just the right color and cut. Her down to earth manner and attention to detail help guests feel comfortable in her hands. She is also an Organic Colorist and highlight specialist.

MARANDA’S GALLERY

Maranda Roberson–Studio Lash Extension Artist/master stylist

Maranda is much in demand as a Studio Lash Artist and is also a talented hair stylist. She has over13 years behind the chair working on hair and has attended many continuing education classes in cutting and color. Maranda has apprenticed with Master Lash Artist Cynthia Lemen and received her NovaLash Artist certification in July 2020. Maranda is a natural born artist and is in demand for her creative hair color applications as well as the beautiful eyelashes she applies. Her cheerful laugh and gentle manner are a friendly hallmark of the “Divine culture.”

JULIA’S GALLERY

Julia pendred–Studio Nail ARTIST

Julia has been delighting Divine guests with her services since 2016.  A naturally gifted artist, she brings her creativity and attention to detail into her work on nails and toes.  She is excellent with nail art - if you show her a picture she can do it!   Julia takes care of men as well as women and receives many compliments on her foot massage skills.  A little trivia about our nail tech - she was born in Russia and is the daughter of our salon owner Cynthia!
